Do I need to bring an electrical adapter?
All of our suites are equipped with standard North American sockets (Type A, sometimes Type B). If traveling with European, Asian or non North American appliances/devices, we recommend brining an adaptor.

Can we use our country’s standard currency?
The currency used within the resort is USD, and USD and JMD is accepted island wide. Foreign exchange rates may vary and change on a daily basis, subject to availability.

In-room safes are included in all suite categories. Our resort is not liable for unattended items left in public areas or valuables left outside the in-room safe.
Does the resort have a hurricane policy?

Does the resort have a smoking policy?
Smoking is prohibited within the constraints of the building, however it is allowed in designated smoking areas.
What is the tipping policy at the resort?
All tips and gratuities are included in your all-inclusive package. Additional gratuities are most welcome by our staff should services exceed your expectations.
Can I drink local water?
We recommend not to drink faucet/tap water, the resort will provide filtered and bottled water at all time. Water and ice cubes served at all resort venues are always filtered and safe to drink. Certified by third party auditors, our resort is compliant to the highest level in industry sanitation standards & best practices.
Does the resort provide medical services or support?
A nurse is available onsite 24 hours for emergency assistance, and the regular hours of operation are from 9:00am - 5:00 pm daily. The Nurse's consultation attracts an additional charge.
Our resort is located within a 5 minute drive to the nearest private hospital.
Is it possible to mail items that we purchased back home?
It depends on the items as some restrictions apply due to Custom regulations. Additional fees apply.

Is there babysitting available? If so, is there a fee for babysitting?
Currently, babysitting is not offered, but requests are accommodated on a case basis. The standard rate is US$35 per hour per child and US$20.00 for every hour thereafter. The minimum age for babysitting is two (2) years old, and the maximum number of children per babysitter is two (2).
Is there an ATM at the hotel?
Yes, for your convenience an ATM is available onsite.
What's included in my all-inclusive package?
All drinks and meals are included. On-site entertainment, fitness facilities, non-motorized aquatic sports, daily outdoor and indoor activities, in-suite minibar, and free wifi. Tastings, and multiple social activities are also part of the all-inclusive package.

Does the resort offer day/night passes?
Yes. The rate is US$125 for access to the property from 11:00am to 5:00pm, and 6:00pm to 11:00pm.

If I am on a cruise, and a nearby stop is scheduled in my itinerary, can I visit the resorts?
Yes. You may visit our resort by purchasing a day pass in advance.
How far is the resort from the airport?
We are located a 10-minute drive away from Sangster's International Airport.
Is parking available at the resort?
Yes, we offer guest-only free parking, subject to availability.

Do I need to make prior reservations at restaurants?

If I am a vegetarian or have special dietary needs, will I have adequate options?
Yes, the resort offers gluten-free, vegetarian options, and additional assistance in accommodating special dietary needs (please notify the resort ahead of time or at check-in, should this be the case).
Do you offer premium branded spirits?
Yes. Cocktails made with international and national premium branded spirits are yours to enjoy as part of your all-inclusive plan. A variety of specialty spirits and bottles, such as champagne and first-rate wines are available for purchase.
Is there room service?
Yes. 24-hour, all-inclusive suite service is available.
Are there any restaurants open late at night?
Most specialty cuisines restaurants are open between the hours of 6:00PM – 10:00PM. Union Jack’Z (UK Sports Pub) serves food between 6:00PM – 10:00PM, and has live music between 11:00PM – 2:00AM.
What types of beers are available?
Red Stripe, Red Stripe Light, and Heineken are available at the property.
Are there age requirements for entering bars on property?
Yes, the legal drinking age in Jamaica is 18. Adults aged 18-24 will be issued special wristbands at check-in, otherwise an official country issued ID is required at our bars for age verification.
Do any of the restaurants close during certain times of the year?
All of our restaurants are open year-round. One or two restaurants may close at night during the week whenever there is a theme night. Please contact the hotel for details.
Does the resort have a swim-up bar?
Yes, we have a swim-up bar, Pool Bar.
Are kids allowed at every restaurant? Are there any restrictions?
Children have access to all specialty restaurants in Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall. Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall exclusive restaurants are limited to adults only, these include Petit PariZ, HorZion, and FlavourZ.
Do you offer private dinners in-room or on the beach?
Yes. Private candlelight dinners start at US$209 plus tax per person at our beach palapas, and US$350 and upwards for our gazebo locations. Packages include a specialty menu, a private server, location and service charges. Please contact our concierge team to book. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Currently all of our restaurants operate on a walk -in basis and do not require dinner reservations. The restaurants are set up with tables of 2, 4, and between 5 and 8.
What is the difference between an Ocean View and an Oceanfront room?
Oceanfront rooms offer unobstructed, panoramic ocean views. Ocean View rooms offer a partial ocean view.
What is concierge service?
Offering an exceptional hospitality experience, our Concierge Desk will be your first point of contact for queries and special requests. The team is also available for assistance with coordinating on-site and off-site services. Available from 7:00am to 10:00pm daily.
Are singles welcome?

How can I arrange tours and excursions outside the resort?

What is the difference between an activity and an excursion?
Generally, activities are offered onsite such as pool parties, tastings and fitness lessons. Tours and excursions are optional off-site activities offered by third party vendors, at additional charge.
Are cabanas available for rent?

Are spa treatments included? If not, can they be booked in advance?

Can I sunbathe topless on the beach?
No, due to local regulations.
Are the pools heated?
The main pools are not heated; however, we have heated hydro-tubs.
What types of water sports are offered?
We offer non-motorized water sports, such as kayaking, wind-surfing, snorkeling, boogie-boarding, stand-up paddle, and sailing.
Do you offer private photo-sessions on property? Does this need to be planned in advance?
Yes, subject to availability with prior planning.
Are there malls nearby?
